I've been thinking about that a lot recently. I mean, why is it so many people are ashamed of the Gospel? And why do so many withhold their testimonies?

"They overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; ..." Revelation 12:11a

Because the world is still such an influence on so many of us. We're so stubborn and proud that it often takes God tearing out our hearts through life-changing events to get our attention. When everything else is stripped away and only He remains, then you see what's really important.

That's been my life for the past year or two as well. Glad to see someone else is overcoming! The question is how many will have to undergo that trial to get to the place they need to be? Better to make the choice now than endure it later.

Just be sure to speak the truth in LOVE. It can be so easy to hurt when you're trying to heal. Be like Paul and listen first, then find common ground, then proclaim the Gospel.

For me, photography is an act of worship, of honoring God for giving me vision, and of providing the people I photograph with glue for their relationships.

I agree... and I've experienced some of both. Took me a while to find, but I recently came across this in scripture, in a study I was doing, that reminded me of this.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 - "And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will."
